May and June | ‘Can you see what I see’ is an exhibition based on a book which, according to artist and author Caroline Hyland, seeks to promote living well with dementia while advocating for a society which sees the person first and not the disease. Glanmire Library May and June | Vintage Postcards. A selection of Vintage Postcards focusing on the Glanmire/Riverstown area, kindly lent by local Historian Michael Lenihan. May and June | Cork Motor Sports Exhibition 1903 and 1930. This exhibition looks at the exciting history of motor sport in Cork from the early 1900s to 1930. Presented on large display panels. Hollyhill Library May 1-17 | Art Exhibition featuring work from John Neville. John Neville a native of Cork, retired after 44 years working with the port of Cork (Cork Harbour Commissioners) in 2018. He now channels his energy into the creative arts as a singer/songwriter, children’s author and artist. Since retiring, he has produced two original solo music albums with a third on the way, and he is currently finishing his debut children’s novel. John has always had a lifelong love of art and this exhibition is a sample of his work in various formats, that he has produced over the years. May 22nd - end of June | A Year of Creativity - Student Art and Craft Exhibition. Discover the creativity of students from YouthReach at “A Year of Creativity,” an exhibition showcasing the students’ artwork and craft projects from the past year. This vibrant display offers a glimpse into the talents and unique perspectives of our students. Join us in celebrating their artistic growth as they share their stories through the language of art. Exhibition Launch Wednesday 22nd at 2.00pm, with a special performance from choir “Niche Sing Your Heart”.

Mayfield Library

May | Places of Learning. Mayfield ‘Places of Learning’ photography exhibition has captured lively, studious, and fun photographs highlighting all forms of learning in the community. June | A Brush with Colour. Exhibition of art from ABEL’s Art Group, The Glen. The exhibition will be launched with a short dramatic performance based on the life of Leonardo da Vinci, 11 am June 4th. All welcome.

Tory Top Library

May | Wednesday 22 | Lust for Life through Lifelong Learning Ballyphehane/Togher CDP and Tory Top Library will present a collaborative photographic exhibition to coincide with the Bealtaine Celebrations. This will consist of A3 Photo exhibition, taking a snapshot of resilience, fun, connectivity and inclusion through learning and participation in our communities. May | Tory Top Painters An exhibition featuring some of the work by the Tory Top Library Painters. Various mediums were uses such as oils, acrylics etc.
